Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer with strong Government Digital Service (GDS) and Azure experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet GDS standards and leverage the power of Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using .NET technologies.
• Ensure compliance with GDS standards and guidelines throughout the development life cycle.
• Implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly those related to .NET, GDS, and Azure.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications and services.
• Extensive experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and guidelines.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with Front End technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of database design and management, particularly with SQL Server.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Certification in Microsoft Azure or .NET technologies.
• Experience working on government or public sector projects.
