Robert Walters is working in partnership with a national business, they are an innovative online services business with a national customer base.

They are looking to appoint an interim Head of IT, who will lead the It services function, developing strategies and managing projects to enable business growth through robust, secure, innovative technology platforms.

The 3-month contract for a Head of IT will pay a competitive day rate, outside IR35 and will be a fully remote home-based role.

Head of IT (Home Based) Duties:

• Daily operational management of IT Department
• Develop/Execute IT strategy and Roadmaps
• Advise on technical solutions
• Manage IT projects - migrations, new system rollouts, security initiatives
• Maintain networking, Servers, endpoints
• Compliance with regulations - DSPT, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001
• Budget/Forecasts
• Define policies, processes and documentation
• Asses risks and opportunities to optimise IT services infrastructure, operations and security
• Manage procurement of hardware/software
• Manage 3rd party vendors

Head of IT (Home Based) Experience:

• Knowledge of core infrastructure protocols and technologies
• Cloud platforms - AWS/Azure
• O365 experience
• Knowledge of frameworks - ITIL
• Leadership and project management experience
• Managing IT Helpdesk and Incident Management teams
