  • Initial 3-month contract to start May (ideally) 2024, with renewals
  • Outside IR35
  • UK remote with occasional days onsite

Summary

My client is expanding their Team and needs to bring in Engineers to work on their ongoing Intelligent Automation Project.

Ideally you will be a Windows Server Engineer who understands how to support Windows and then have expanded your technical knowledge and skills into the AWS, DevOps and Automation space.

The primary skill set is Windows Server support and deployments.

You will be working on Windows Server 2019, configuring policies, and setting up Office. You will be managing the infrastructure on the Windows Server.

You will need analytical skills as this is a support role and you will be required to solve problems on the Servers that arise.

As well as this, you will have recently expanded your knowledge to include experience of AWS, DevOps and Automation, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Windows skills - Window server, Windows desktop from either a support or development point of view
  • Automations - have worked (Support or Development) in at least 1 of the following areas:
    • GitHub Actions
    • CI/CD pipeline
    • UiPath RPA
    • Power Automate
  • AWS - have worked with Windows in an AWS environment - Understanding of AWS features and functions, Windows EC2s
  • Softer skills - Good team player, self starter, strong analytical skills
