Overview:

Here at Anson McCade we are working with a leading management consultancy to recruit for a seasoned Backend Developer with experience encompassing Java object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, Java 8 advancements, multi-threading, web application development, RESTful services, testing frameworks, and beyond.

The ideal Candidate will have previous consulting experience and a track record of successful project implementations.

Candidates must be SC clearable or already SC cleared

Role responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of multi-threading concepts, implementing strategies to avoid deadlocks, and optimizing performance through parallel runs and resource sharing.
  • Utilize Java 8 features, such as streams, functional interfaces, and collections, to enhance code readability and maintainability.
  • Apply strong object-oriented programming principles in Java to design and implement robust and scalable solutions.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java software development with leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience designing and developing web applications using MVC frameworks,
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and deliver complex software solutions
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Experience with DevOps tooling (beneficial)
